Having troubles, p99 nearly unplayable =/

So for some reason, on this new computer I built, when I die or change zones for any reason, 9/10 times I disconnect and can't get back in for a minimum of 10 minutes, and it's gone as long as almost 30 minutes. It gives me some error that I can't connect with the server or something of that nature, then if it won't do that, it loads for 10 minutes then sends me back to the Main Menu and I have to attempt to log back in.

Could this be an issue with my 6 core Processor? I knew of quad cores being weird with EQ but I don't know if that's the same with the others.

Has anyone else had this issue? I have tried re-installing to no avail.

Oh and I don't get to the character screen. It always sends me back to the main menu before they even get loaded up.
