Default New Shaman

First Shaman ever, went for iksar as they are the supreme race.
Considering that I don't have high lvl alts to twink it out, looking for recommendations for cheap weapons? Things to look out for in EC and such. Much thanks, such appreciate.

Head to KC and pick yourself up some rotting Jarsath Armor. May take a while but excellent nodrop gear.

55hp 5ac rings second best bang for your buck.

In terms of weps, can get a smouldering brand (9/22) for like 400p. Poison wind censor is a great shaman wep but runs much higher (round 1.5k)

Excellent advice going for those rots! Only thing I would consider changing is: instead of smoldering brand, it is an option to go for Springwood club cause it has a bit of Wisdom.... DPS stats aren't QUITE as good tho, 8/24?

Any Iksar Shaman should camp the Iksar Berserker Club. Great exp and tons of bonechips down in Kurns, and the weapon is fantastic for shaman.

I bought a Springwood club for around 130pp and a full set of banded for 90pp. Did me very well from lvls 10- 30.

Some great advice here, surprisingly good armor/weapon drops in Kunark - thanks a bunch!

I had a springwood club on my cleric until he got his epic, would recommend [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Agree on the HP rings too, you'll have a good time... the only limit to an iksar shaman is not being able to make alchemy potions without having a mule buy the ingredients in North Ro for you. That aside, fun as hell [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yeah I completely forgot about spring wood club! Had one for like 40 levels too. Beetle stinger is also a great starter wep (8/23 iirc)

I grabbed one of these for my shaman. Can stick it in your range slot later on when
you upgrade your weapon (or want to use a different weapon).

Beetle stinger looks amazing. Regarding travelling to KC to pick up some rotting Jarseth armor - is it feasible to attempt this at a low level 1-5ish? It seems like a pretty high level zone
