Idea for the non-casual EC Merchant

So after looking at some posts in the past few months in regards to sales and/or b2r exchanges (along with sitting in ec this morning) I began noticing some of the long time sellers (Bob, Thulack/Bongs and Mitic come to mind) who call themselves a trusted seller. I was thinking about this because with the occasional scam happening perhaps something could be done to highlight those who have a good track record of 1+ years as trusted merchants? Possible stipulations to becoming a certified trusted EC retailer:

-1+ years consistently doing EC tunnel business
-flawless track record for giving people what they pay for
-known merchant, possibly with a guild tag or some otherwise reassuring feature
-Good forum presence, contributor to wiki prices/ahungry?

nothing would have to be added or done in game, but rather you'd ask for certification on a forum thread or something and a guild leader or somebody in authority would grant said person a merchant certification that is insured by the guild, might also be a good way if your guild can back you to become a guild sponsored merchant, giving your guild tag another way to earn credibility

What's that guild called who do fungi lotteries? Not so trustworthy, posted a thread here about Whiteeagleup won himself a fungi by rolling 777 (and showing a screenshot).

Logged in one evening about 1-2 weeks ago and saw Whiteeagleup spamming /random 1000 continuously... not in sight of a casino or anything. Looked scammy and like the screenshot was doctored to match one where he'd hit 777.

Bob already has a sign. his cool surname....I've tried numerous times to get bongs a cool surname to show i could be trusted for xfers. I get atleast 10 tells a day from people asking for xfers that i have no idea who they are(atleast the first time) but they know me because of my sig and they see me in EC often(more then i should be). I don't advertise but i'm always more then willing to help someone out that needs a xfer or a sow for that matter.

I respond to shouts of people looking for someone to do a transfer in EC offering to help out and the whole time I'm thinking "jeebus, someone responding to a tell like that -- defintely not to be trusted!" I've transfered high value items for people I don't hardly know (may have seen them around) Manastone, Fungis, Tolan's BP and the loot of young players often. I'm surprised (and pleased, honestly) at how trusting people are. That trust pleases me because it is nice to know that the game isn't filled with malice and that trust wouldn't exist if it did.

As much as the GMs say "don't get scammed" etc, there's the added precedent that scumbag thieves have been caught before and suspended/banned. It's probably still 98% goodwill but I think the remainder are put off by that...which is awesome.
