Default Killing HHK guards as a Rogue bad?

Someone mentioned in OOC the other day that killing guards in HHK is bad idea for a Rogue because of some faction thing, I am assuming they meant you wouldnt be able to get epic, or something that had to do with epic? Is that true?

Also, if I already have my epic, is there any other reason why I shouldnt level in HHK on the guards?

HHK guards lower Carson McCabe, which I assume Anson McCabe and Stanos are on.

Yeah but if I already have my epic, is there a need to worry about Carson McCabe faction?
