![]() hit range on the starting area stuff in steamfont seems to be pretty far. if you pull a skeleton, a wolf, a spider, anything there basically it'll run to you then hit you, but be out of melee range by a good two-gnomes in size. I never had to move forward to stab something until giants in kunark zones, everything was right in your face after a cast
the only time that things might have been too far away, was on a slope. in this case, the problem exists on flat terrain and slopes | ||

![]() This is how all things are. It isn't going to be changed or fixed. We've been barking up that tree, and runspeeds being incorrect, for a long time.
The runspeed fix is due to technical constraints. So, it's not an arbitrary choice. | ||
