Enchanter from LV 8-12

Hi all,

I just got to lvl 8 and was super excited about getting a new pet. Come to find out it's not sold but in one very dangerous place a continent away (why?). Is it worth trying to get this pet, or should I just suffer til 12 and get charm?

Depends on how you plan on leveling. If you're soloing, then you probably want to have it, as lvling 8-12 without a pet would be painful at best.

If you're grouping, you could probably live without it. Also, at 12, charm soloing in my opinion is slower than just pet soloing. Charm is a huge % of your mana pool - but some people disagree with me.

Yeah get your pet - it's atrocious trying to get to 12 without it. I charmed from 12 onwards but I think you could probably do it just as fast with your 12 pet to get to 16.

Once you get 16 and breeze don't look back to pets.

That was a scary ass run at level 9 with my bind point in Tox, but that's what EQ is all about! Then, as soon as I get there, I almost autoattacked the vendor. Thanks for the advice. It was definitely worth it

Get level 12 and charm a willowisp in EC. Use him to solo clear all the orc camps (unless a legionnaire spawns).
