Crashing with using WinEQ 2.15

Hello.

Everytime i start EQ using WinEQ2.15 i get booted back to login screen.

What i did:

1.) installed fresh titanium.
2.) used Duxa's All In One Installer v0.16.exe (option 1)
3.) copied the contents of P99Files30.zip
4.) started eq using WinEQ2.15

I can select the server, the loading screen appears (without loading message like "Spawning Fippy Darkpaw 212357234", there is just no text there).

Shortly before he's done with loading i get booted back to the login screen.

Without WinEQ i can login, but i have to be careful what i do, because it's pretty easy to get an ResetDevice() error message.

Any hints?

edit: I forgot it would be bright to do an /loc after i died... 20 minutes running around looking for my corpse ^^

Try installing the server files manually.

I did this at point 3.

I can play without WinEq. Just using WinEq i get booted to login screen shortly before character selection screen

See about using Duxa installer, I used it tonight (after installing p99 normally) for the UI and it works great - might help, it has a core fix.

did you read the original post at all? he did state he did use the duxa installer...

Halfling Druid - Tubben Hasenfuss <Ancient Dawn> - Vallon Zek.

But currently it's simply unplayable. I get the Reset Device() error every 5 minutes, and i cant start the game using WinEQ.

personally, running Wineq2 myself.. All i do is keep it running in the background, i have not found it necessary to actually boot the game from the software, it seems to work just having the WinEq2 software running the taskbar and starting p99 as usual. Sorry about the issues though

i try this. starting eq with wineq only running in the background.

I startent playing on Solusek Ro, but with an different char. Changed quick to vallon zek and stayed there with Tubben. First in Ancient Orden, but the Merge with Ebon Dawn made us to Ancient Dawn.

i never changed my guild.
