![]() The version of EQ for Mac is a Live version operated by SOE and requires a subscription. From what I understand the coding is different, so I'm not certain that the mac client will work with an emulated server, as the dedicated Mac server SOE has in place doesn't allow any PC players. The Mac client only goes up to Planes of Power I believe, so that alone may make it incompatible, but it's a free download so you could certainly test it.
One thing you could do is install Apple's Boot Camp on your Mac which allows you to install a copy of Windows and choose your OS from a dual boot menu. You will need your own copy of Windows, as it's not included. Boot Camp is still free I believe and sanctioned by Apple so you're not doing anything risky. you should be able to download it directly from their website. From there, just install per the PC instructions from within Windows on your Mac. | ||

![]() My friend, player name Aenarie/Lacee plays p99 emulated on a Mac successfully. The only drawback so far of his setup is he cannot use commands associated with the "f1-f12" keys.
