Default Taper Enchantment in SolA

I may have overlooked something here, and if so, please point it out, but for some reason taper enchantment does not release charmed pets (at least the goblins) in SolA. To drop pet, I've had to go invis, rather than casting taper enchantment on charmed pet.

Anyone else experienced this?

Thank you.

Your pets most likely have buffs on them from caster goblins before you charm them. So when you go to dispel, your dispel is hitting those buffs (or those buffs have faded and are filled in with something you did, etc) instead of charm.

Need charm to be the first effect on an NPC in order for taper/cancel to hit the charm.

If mobs are buffed, you might need multiple casts of Taper Enchantment or try to use a higher level debuffer like Nullify Magic (or just use inviz).

I've been using Pillage Enchantment in KC to cancel my charm and it seems to work fine. Taper Enchantment seemed to work for the Golems in CoM as well, from what I remember.
