Strange error on Mac

I read the how to install P1999 on a Mac sticky and I am getting an error at the step where I open eqclient.ini, when I open it in TextEdit the only thing listed on the file is

[Defaults]
Sound=TRUE

Literally, that is all hah. Did I get a faulty download or something?
