Quest Issue: Paw of Opolla Quest

Ok so I'm not sure if it is bugged or if I am just the most unlucky sap who ever played this game but here goes.

First I went to camp the mummy in Befallen, no biggie right? But after 4 days of camping him for 5 or more hours, max of 12.5hrs, i can't get him to spawn to save my life. I get upset with it and choose to go try my luck with the paw drop. So im killing Vin Moltor with the knowledge that the paw will drop off him 25% of the time. Cool good odds shouldn't take more than 6 kills at most i think... 12 kills later he hasn't dropped it. All the while another guy is camping the mummy in befallen. I ask every so often if he got him to spawn. He camps it for another 6 hrs right after i did it for 12hrs or so just before and no luck as well. So that is a combined total of 18hrs not one spawn of the mummy... and on top of that I have killed Vin a few more times after my 12 in a row and still no paw. Not saying its bugged but maybe someone should take a look at it just in case. Thank you.

Gynok is a rare spawn, occasionally vin moltor will be tough to spawn as well.


When I used to do this quest 2-3 times a week, I'd keep myself bound in Qeynos sewers right where vin moltor spawns. Also, Gynok moltor can spawn/despawn on his own. The PH for him will roam into the zone, and depop 15~ minutes after spawning. I've zoned into befallen and seen gynok just sitting at the entrance before. Its all really just about luck, unfortunately.
