Miscellaneous: Aviak Darters and Rooks

Darters and Rooks should be dropping certain gems from what I can remember.

Jades, Pearls, Topaz, Flame Agate, and Ivory. Have seen a few drop from Darters, but nothing off of a Rook.

Have never seen an Ivory, Jade, or Pearl. Could just be bad luck though.

They should also been dropping 1 or 2pp occasionally. I have only looted gold.

Also looked a Peridot off of a Rook, and I believe these should only drop off of Harriers, and Avocets.

Update : After many many more kills, I managed to loot an Ivory off of a Rook. Still no Jades or Pearls off of Darters, or Rooks, and no platinum.

Just because a mob has the possibility to drop something doesn't mean it ever will.

Gem and plat drops were extremely common off of these guys. Wish I could find more info on it. Used to be one of the places I would make really good cash while leveling up.

After more leveling here, it seems every type of gem does drop! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] They are definitely a lot more uncommon then live was, but still no platinum off of either!

Modified, pending update.

Changed egrets through avocets. There were issues with not dropping proper gems for their level and weapon drops always being rusty. This should look better next patch.

Plat seems fine for their level.
