Game Mechanics: Tradeskill combines broken?

I cannot create shadow tempers nor can I create Medium Quality Folded Sheet Metal, both of these combines in their respective containers tell me "You cannot combine these items in this container type!"

Also tried a Medium Quality Wolf skin + skinning knife in a Sewing kit, same error.

I've not tried others but did hear someone in EC saying the same thing.

seeing the same thing... can't even combine two spiderling silks in a sewing kit
