Cannot log in, east commons bugged?

I have been playing this fine for the past week but starting today I cannot play my character in the east commons. I log into the game server to character select just fine, but when I try to log into my necro it just kinda freezes until eventually it says that the server is not responding and I have been disconnected.

I can log into my other characters in Kaladim just fine. I've restarted the game, rebooted my PC, re-installed EQ, and everything but nothing seems to work.

Any help would be great.

Just posting to say that he has ALSO tried with windows firewall disabled. He has tried only using his modem without his router and he has tried with and without any extra UI stuff. Nothing seems to work.

I fixed it. I went into my router and changed my MAC address and got a new IP by resetting modem/router.
