Invis/Gather Shadows in Freeport

Since the patch Gather Shadows last for, like 3 seconds in East Freeport and drops immediately if you are invis and zone in. Is this intentional? Seems to be fine elsewhere (I didn't check other freeports, just east)

Edit: seems this was lich breaking invis. Is this intentional?
