Oh!! Come on Hasbin you post this when Oakland is on the brink of a riot pending the trial of the cop that meant to taze a kid but ended up pulling his gun and shooting him.

Reminds me of tuning into the LA riots back in the day. Oakland is in for hell soon if the cop is found not guilty.

My brother in law goes to college by the court house and they have canceled class's for the week.

Ehh.. Not as bad as everyone thinks honestly. I fear more from the Black Bloc than I do from any random street violence..

Honestly, since Obama took office, there has been a major shift in the way black people (in the bay at least) comport themselves, and I think it will show through if Mehserle gets a slap on the wrist. Yeah, you might see small pockets of violence from idiot kids, but nothing like what the media is fear-mongering about.

Kinda one of those "you'd have to live here" moments.. ..but, I think people will see, if that fucking sick bitch is let off.

Haha must be from Obama's closing pray in the inauguration speech by Joseph Lowery.

"Lord, in the memory of all the saints who from their labors rest, and in the joy of a new beginning, we ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get [in] back, when brown can stick around, when yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead, man; and when white will embrace what is right. Let all those who do justice and love mercy say Amen! Say Amen! And Amen!"

I'm going to guess also the case Obama just dismissed to with the guy from the Black Panther party.

"The Bush Justice Department brought the first case against three members of the group, accusing them in a civil complaint of violating the Voter Rights Act."

Black Panthers also assembled outside several voting area's during the presidential election refusing to let certain people in.
