Default Too many druids?

Hi there,
I was wondering if there are too many druids on this server already and if I should even bother to continue playing mine - he's only level 12 right now?
I do enjoy leveling him, but I want to be useful / needed on raids. Although I would probably try a mage next... or shaman.

Hell yah there are. But if you enjoy playing yours continue anyway.

Everyone thinks they need to play a druid first, then their main later because of these two misconceptions.

1. Druids are the best farmers and can get pp quickly for twinking out their new main.
2. Druids are the best power levellers so they can two box PL their new main up and get them to 50 really fast.

Problem with #1 is, there are plenty of ways to make a lot of plat that druids can't do, and the plat they can do isn't all that much better than what you can get other ways. It's a great way to farm yes, but its not necessarily the best, or that much better than other classes.

Problem with #2 is, 2 boxing isn't allowed, and if you're going to do it you're going to have to be sneaky about it which means in the end, one screw up could cost you your twink, and possibly your main as well, depending on what kinda punishment the GM's ditch out, so why risk playing something just to PL something later?

If you want druid to be your main and only character, go for it. If you plan to twink + pl something with it later, just skip all the hassle and play your main now, it's really not that hard to get a lot of plat from parties or a good solo class.

Good advice, man. I've always suggested the same thing: Play what you like. It's all about fun, after all.

I don't know if I want to keep playing him regulary once I hit 50/60. Maybe create another toon just to experience other classes - I played a monk on Live and have no real clue about casters.

I like how you suggest cheating as an option with the caveat that you have to hide it.

Classy.

I'm not suggesting anything, it is an option, and you cleary need to hide it. It's not cheating by the way, it's flat out against the rules. Like I said.

You just find someone else with a Drui as well, exchange PL service time. Once past 20 anyway, it tends to get harder, 2-boxing a PL isn't as easy then even with endless mana.
