Default 'Fun Leveling' paths - EQ leveling for someone used to WoW

Hi all,

This thread is about my wife. We used to play WoW together in Vanilla->Wotlk, and we've dabbled in other MMOs - EQ2, GW2, Rift (shortly) and some other semi MMOs like D3.

Everquest, you might say, is my 'white whale' for gaming with her. After a lull in gaming she recently decided that she would give it a try. And good news! She is enjoying it!

Now comes where I ask for some help. I know the traditional leveling paths. If I was just leveling up an alt I'd be in Oasis til 20, then Unrest, then MM, solb, guk, into kunark, etc.

However, my wife gets bored of the same place. We went to oasis at 11 and now at 15 she is tired of killing crocodiles and orcs. I told her we'd find a new place to go tonight.

My question is - has anybody tried to do a leveling path with the most variety? I'm looking to only be somewhere for 1-2 levels at a time, and while I know the 'vague level' of most dungeons/zones, I'd like to gradually increase the difficulty/levels of the zones - for instance, I know @ 15 there are orcs/crocs, unrest yard/first floor, hhp orcs, but I'm not really sure where the correct place to 'start' versus the correct place to 'end' is. I'm also not opposed to 'revisiting' zones if there is a drastic change - I.e. uguk has a wide range of camps that are lower and 'higher' - etc.

Any pointers? Tips? I checked out the leveling guide on the wiki but it basically summarizes the vague knowledge I have. Really looking for people who have done this kind of thing, or even if you just know an awesome camp that's only applicable to a small level range - I'm game.

Thanks!

Tomtee/Scrumph (and my wife is Pizzatime)
