What weapons to dual wield? (Bard)

I'm almost to level 17, where my toon will be strong enough to carry two weapons at once... question is, what weapons to buy?

Right now I'm just using a dragoon dirk, but I have some plat to spend and am wondering what weapons would be ideal or at least decent to carry me into my 30's or 40's or so.

I'm wondering what procs are good to look for on the weapons as well.

Pgt is a go-to weapon at that level. Another favorite esp. for offhand is http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=5366 if you can get help or buy the plans from someone camping ac. That's if that quest is working here, haven't seen one for sale.

Gloomwater Harpoon

Is great for offhand since all that really matters in off hand is ratio. EBW is nice for main if you have the cash and dont want to pull too much aggro. Right now Im using Shark Tooth in main hand, because faster is better in main hand. Staff of Writhing is cheap and good damage from procs when you get to the right level, though it procs so much you can easily pull aggro from a tank if youre not careful.

I'd suggest the gloom poon, as well as the staff of spam proc'n (Gloompoon /Staff of Writhing)

I have both of those, as well as, a Kicsh Der Pavz even though it's considered a tank wep i like to have options.

I also plan to pick up an Obshard just for the hell of it. Obsidian Shard

Barbed Leather Whip and Enamelled Black Mace made a nice combo for my young bard on live in the old Classic days. Helps to keep blunt and slash maxed and the whip is a great way to get girls.
