I've heard you can't proc on ripostes. Also never had great luck trying to OT hammer with riposte disc on my rogue, so I'm inclined to believe this is true.

Wouldn't need rampage AA if you could proc on ripostes.

Get slowed by a shaman, and your delay with an earthshaker would be 28. Even with 1.0ppm (of which most wars can get significantly higher) you'd proc once every other swing.

With 60-70 mobs attacking you for 9 seconds you'd slaughter them after 3-4 seconds of disc time.

I was all pumped up to get Furious Disc on sakuragi at 56 for precisely this reason. I bought an Earthshaker and a ton of dex gear, pulled a huge train in City of Mist, popped the disc, and . . . . . doh, no procs. It seems to be classic as well.

I actually wanted to try this out a couple of weeks back. Actually started sending some tells to a few people, was trying to get a bard and a warrior. It was late and I couldn't get the ball rolling so I went to bed and forgot about it. I guess its all for the best looking at people's responses about ripostes not proccing.

I've posted it a bunch so just search if you need confirmation, but some Zerker ran a parse a long time ago for something like 20 or 30 hours, 0 riposte procs in that time.

It was the reason he was harder on live and why people thought it was an AE Cone lifetap.

Needs fixing.
