Default Ocean of Tears Gargoyles - Still Broken?

I dug up a couple old threads and patch notes regarding the gargoyle spawns in OOT and see that some fixes have already been made. However, there appear to be some issues that remain. Even at off-peak times when the island has (presumably) been uncamped for some time, I have found only a single gargoyle spawned.

This may be a pathing issue, as I have watched gargoyles path back and forth without ever crossing the path of a skeleton (I assume they are KOS to the skeletons, but I have not seen a garg have the opportunity to kill one). If this has been fixed before, I suspect it is just a pathing issue with one or two of the spawns, which is limiting the ability for the island to regulate itself.

I remember killing two gargoyles a long time ago on the island. I was really miffed when I realized that they weren't respawning.

I did some more work on this.

The skeletons and gargoyles should now find each other more easily. As long as there is a pathing gargoyle, it should kill off the skeletons appropriately over time.
