Now that YT and exp loss have been given the axe patch, what other stuff would people like to see that doesn't require a fresh server [aka no teams suggestions]?
For me this is my wish list: 1) Leaderboard. It will need a way to account for assists somehow to not be gimped but a Leaderboard of some sort would be cool and something to do when there's no dragons to slay pals. 2) EXP boost. While in theory I'm a fan of keeping exp slow for a variety of reasons, none of those reasons seems to carry any weight when the initial impression people get here is a barren wasteland with no groups and only fungi wearing rogue epic twinks griefing you. 3) Variance. I never thought I'd say this in a million years but the whole all mobs on a one day timer within three hours thing is getting old fast. The excitement of quickly assembling to kill a mob against another guild seems more fun to me at this point than killing Trakanon for the 500th time. 4) Item loot even if its implemented as a flaggable option that makes you wait maybe a week to unflag from it. This would remedy the claim of people who say its too late to implement it now. I think most people would flag tbh. 5) Fix CC. While I've seen some posts like player x resisted my root all the time what is the issue, the point is I shouldn't have to wear MR gear in every slot just for a chance at resisting root. 6) Maybe in lieu of variance a once a week at random time raid mob pop in a random zone that could drop a piece of LR or something else cool. Something to fight over that can't be predicted when it will pop etc. Just some thoughts.

I just wish the devs would accept that keepin shit reallll classic isn't going to work on red, if having people actually play this server is the goal. They need to start thinking outside the box in terms of how to make this shit exciting again. It seems as though at least nilbog has begun to do so.

Remove exp bonus, add in group exp bonus. Make us solo classes group if we want fast xp imo.
Teams, hopefully some that break up Nihilum (no offense to you guys, oldschool Nihilum worked hard for first place) to force some life into endgame. Item loot could be cool, if players could loot no drop and droppable items. End to account trading, end to RMT entirely. Bigger population somehow; hopefully bringing in a variety of players so we could have anti-PK guilds, roleplayers and stuff. Dedicated GM staff that is able to ban anyone who abuses ooc, trains, or w/e. A lot of this is impossible, but an elf can dream... [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Item loot would make most people shy from pvp even if exp loss is removed. Would pretty much negate shit.

That's why I suggested a flaggable item loot option. Maybe if you flag item loot you get an exp bonus or a Leaderboard that only counts for flagged players. /shrug

item loot would need to be all or nothing
variance would be nice because then one guild wouldn't keep every single raid mob within their time window for eternity, and there would be no point in poopsocking to push mobs into your own time window leaderboard/yt flavor things that don't really improve the game all that much resists most important thing that needs to change right now, favors zerging heavily like we've been saying it would since the dawn of time exp bonus also pretty important but when exp loss in pvp is removed i don't think it'll be that big of a deal | ||
