Default Disciplinary Action

Is there any? Or are people just going to constantly get away with training/killstealing and pretending they didn't do it?

First instance- grouping in LGuk at Exe, puller pulls savant (as no one is camping him), Twopair tries to KS, can't out DPS us, then intentionally trains frogs onto us to wipe the group, pretending he didn't do it. Entire group petitions/makes posts, no GM response at all.

Second instance- camping Summoner in UGuk, Madpao runs through, aggros Priest pit shamans, runs towards dead zone, FDs, mobs kill my pet as I didn't have enough mana to kill 5 mobs, then runs back through and does it again. Then constantly taunts me asking if I want to 'join his guild'.

Is this to say that it's perfectly alright for me to go to LGuk and start fear bombing mobs into people's camps if I want them to leave? Or is there some special list of people who's petitions actually are given a damn about?

Rogean, you seriously need to get a more competent in-game staff that will actually do something, you can't do it all yourself.

Are you implying that shit like this doesn't happen on live? This happens all the time in EQ, and you have to trust that the GMs will 1) get to it eventually and 2) deal with it fairly.

I do think the game could use more guides to help with this stuff, but then its a double edged sword when you allow ppl into the guide program who might use it unfairly to their or their guild's advantage. There is a balance to be struck, and it seems that the devs do a fairly good job of it here, at least imo.

I haven't had any of this here yet, but did see some of this in the past on grand creation. It's an emu, so expect it now and then, more than on live. Do you have fraps? I think the GM's would have no excuse if you had a video of the situation, or any future problems. I have it set on my quick launch.

Shouldn't have to use fraps, all they have to do is check the logs to see if someone's story checks out. They can track the path of a single coin in the game, putting 2 and 2 together to see that someone trained isn't that hard.

Aside from asking for an IP exemption so I can LAN with one of my friends (which was promptly responded to...now if I can only get ahold of him to find out his account name), none of my petition/exploit posts have ever even been LOOKED AT, let alone responded to.

Aside from Rogean and Cyrius, I have never seen a GM/guide online. A lot of the problems with other people that come up in MMOs are the types of things that need an immediate response or it is just going to get worse and make the 'victim' not want to play, which hurts the game. Campstealing, repeated training, etc are all things that need to be solved within the hour (in my experiences on EQ live pre-Luclin, I never waited longer than 20 minutes for a GM response).

I had someone stealing mobs from me in Highkeep a couple weeks ago and actually got the response 'one of the devs is my guild leader (Wrathful Inquisition) do you really think I'm going to get in trouble?' Things like this are what ruins the game. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but just the mere thought of it is pretty awful and I know that was not the intention of this project to allow people to bully others around just because they volunteered their services or know someone who has some sort of status on P99.

Sounds like you met Dark Ascension. The only solution I know of is to join that guild. Best of luck to you!

Not that I know of. Chat logs, yes, if they choose to. Items like a coin can be tracked by ID in the database and using query, sure. Actions or movement are something else, would be too intensive to log. The more they log, the harder on the server. Logs can leave reasonable doubt, videos can show intention. Everyone gets traned, that's EQ, but having proof that it was intentional is another matter.

Right, DA is so terrible...I can't believe one of their members sat at the Ancient Cyclops spawn with me in SRo for like 4 hours because there were a lot of people in the zone and I would probably get KSd if it spawned.

Unfortunately there's really nothing that can be done about trains/ks except train/ks them back.

A friend and I were duoing solb last night, we were trained twice he only died once but we had to gate both times. What did we do? nothing, my buddy sent a tell and didn't even get an apology the guy wouldn't admit Any wrong doing only that we were in a busy part of the zone.

So yeah, Tons of bullshit going on and really NOTHING that you can do about it but try to keep your head high and move along.
