Crashing when camping

I crash everytime I camp, it never goes back to the character screen. Any ideas?

Set eqgame.exe compatibility mode to Windows XP SP2 or SP3

I think we need to update the "getting started" wiki page with things like this. So many little problems to getting the game running that it takes like 10 years familiarity to BELIEVE you can make it run, and then you can.
