Nvidia 9800 GT random low fps in game

I just upgraded to my new 9800 GT from my 8800 GT which ran the game perfect with zero problems. Now I get random low fps all over the world. Any idea on how to fix this?

Do you have shadows on? If so, try turning them off.

Yea my shadows were off. Some dude in game said there was a fix for my video card. Its the 9800 GT 512 MB model. He said there was a thread on these forums. I can't find it tho and I searched.

I'm also using a 9800 GT 1GB variant and have no problems. Check your GPU temperature with GPU-Z as the most recent drivers will downclock your card if it overheats.

I'm using driver version 195.62 with no problems.

It is only a problem with the 512 mb version. I confirmed that in game when I talked to someone. Thanks anyways.
