Game Mechanics: Warrior Taunt

Good evening everyone, I am not sure if this is possibly linked with the other bugs I've recently had fixed for my race/class/deity combination, but I started noticing myself that my taunt is not functioning properly at all. At first I thought that it might just be a coincidence or that someone is doing a lot of dps and is causing me to lose aggro, but when a lower level, under geared tank joined the group, he had no problems at all holding aggro and his taunt worked fine. That's when people started to PM me and let me know that something seemed funny and that I should not have near the trouble I am having holding aggro even at such a low level. Once the level 7 in cloth armor proved that his taunt was functioning that's when I decided that something must be wrong. I've played a warrior as my main on EQ long enough to know how taunt works and about how often it should fail. Pretty much I haven't had taunt succeed once since I been playing this character and I am now level 9 atm. If anything can be done to look into why this may be happening I would greatly appreciate it. My taunt skill ups are working as it is currently in the 50's and I get the message confirming that I taunted, but I basically can not hold aggro against anyone due to my taunt being glitched. Edit #1: It also seems I am have an unusual number of misses on melee attacks against mobs below my level, even greens. Possibility that this could be linked with the problem above. Thank you.

Edit#2: If I am wrong and I just happen to have been away so long that I forgot how often taunt fails, but I don't remember it being successful even one time the other night, so until this is confirmed or denied to be a possibly glitch or bug I think I might roll another character. Thanks again for looking into the matter.
