New Player - Overall system visual issues on install / first startup

Just installed & started up Project99 and upon running for the first time my system experienced some sort of overall brightness/contrast change that took place for the entire system.

Known issue? or?

I followed this guide:

and then patched via p99 website.

Help? Going to restart now
