places to chat

hey forum hoodlums

i'm curious if there are any zones or specific places within p99 that people go to just shoot the shit in game. not really roleplay, but to just have a sort of digital chat room. most nights i can't be to active, but i can log on. just would prefer to chat, not deal with endless ooc WTS/WTB spam messages in EC.

Nope, if ec doesn't suit you prolly nothing on the server will

Your best bet is grouping with randoms and shooting the shit with them, they will either be morons or maybe someone who you can eventually /tell when you are bored and want to chat.

EC is probably your best bet, but you'll want to put all auction chat into a new window or else you won't be able to read ooc.

But really, the best place for chat is in a guild or group.

It's one of the best things about classic EQ. Sometimes the downtime during grouping forces people to be social.

Gfay and Field of bone have the most active OOC IMO. Ec will hear more if you have a question but people dont chitchat like gfay or fob
