Primetime ping issues

Every night, when the server number spikes up to 1200-1500 people, I have ping issues, where my ping will stick around 300 most the time, and spike up to 800 or 900, causing me to crash to login screen while zoning, or even while logging my character in. It happens on both my desktop and my laptop, consistently every time the server numbers get this high, the ping goes high and I have issues zoning. Any way to fix this? I've got Time warner's fastest internet package.
