Pained Soul - respawn timer

I've been playing EQ for 15 years. I get that we need a level of difficulty to make this game what it is. However, I spoke with GM Braknar tonight to confirm and spawn times for 'pained soul' are slightly less than 1 per 40 hours and creating a bottle neck for a lot of really nice folks that just want to see VP content.

If there is some way you can adjust the timer I think many folks would be happy.
I was on Ozxx from ~1:30a.m EST to 10pm EST on 1/21/2016 and had 2 people prior to me, Ubenla and another person and got zilched. Sad when people have to give friends their info so they can keep a camp just so they can have lunch for an hour with their daughter.

No bug report on Pained Soul will ever change anything. It is notoriously a low % chance to spawn and as a result is likely to be streaky and prone to bad random number generation.

If you think it's broken, it's likely a sample size issue.

If it doesn't spawn for 1 month straight, then there is probably something wrong. But if you're basing it off only 40 hours, that can definitely happen.

In my experience, a Pained Soul in 1hr40 minute is really fast. I thought it was a ~6m respawn with a ~4 hour average...I waited 16 hours for mine.

I got mine in 6 minutes. This adds nothing to the thread, I just like to brag. RNG ftw.

It is an extremely low chance of spawn though, but I have heard of him going back to back a couple times as well.
