Black screen with EQ Cursor when I 'Launch Titanium'

I Have just installed the game and gone through all the setup processes but when I start the game I get a black screen, then inside of the black screen in a lower resolution is a black box with the cursor.

How do I fix this? I have two monitors but I've unplugged one and restarted but that didn't do anything.

OMG, me too. Took forever, but I learned that I needed to be in windowed mode for it to work. Alt+enter
