Default Searched already, blank server login page

Title says it all. Followed all the setup steps outlined on this site, get to server select screen for project1999 and it's blank.

I saw all the other threads concerning this, but no one actually got answered.

I have SoD and it's patcher in their own folder elsewhere, works fine.

Any ideas, folks?

(also, the patcher installs and deletes something every time I run it. I run it as admin.)

Ah, it finally timed out on me.

I am on a wireless network. Do I need to do some port forwarding or somesuch?

Forwarded 5998 to the machine, no love.
Checked eqhost, it's correct.
Computers firewall is off.
When I run eqgame.exe it says no connection.

SoD EQ Emu still connects and runs fine from it's own folder.

OK, connected through my phone. The modem/router does not have a DMZ setting.
The modem is a netgear versalink 7550, which is a rebranded westell or something.
Odd, though, that SoD EQEmu works fine on port 5997, no port forwarding needed.
SoD's eqhost lists login server by IP address, while this one with a URL.
I'm tempted to try with the IP, anyone have it?

Well, IP in the host file didnt work.
Think it's pretty dumb that I've seen hundreds of posts regarding this issue over the last year or so, and not a single fix... It's kinda obviously the eqemu launcher bit or a name resolving issue, when SoDs patcher and server work without a hitch.
I'll keep seeing what I can do, and if I figure it out, I'll post it.

Are you running EQ with titanium or something else? Are you installing everything manually or using that duxa auto-install crap?

Titanium. Manually.
Like I said, works using phone as a wireless hotspot.

I still have this issue.
Again, it's weird because I can play p1999 through my phone, and I can play Shards of Dalaya emu server with my regular connection.

People do have issues with the modem model I have, and it's lack of DMZ ability is an issue.
However, since it has no problem passing SoD Emu through, and I know the p1999 is working because of my phone, it has to be eqemulator server select issue with my particular modem.
Port forwarding, port triggering, disabling of every firewall protocol, adding new firewall protocols, nothing has helped.

So again, quick rundown:
p1999 works through my phone
Non-eqemu server select screen (Shards of Dalaya) works fine through my LAN.
Server select screen is blank when I use eqemulator launcher or eqgame through my LAN. Eventually it times out.
Port forwarding, port triggering, and/or disabling of all listed firewall-blocked ipv4 and ipv6 protocols on the modem/router does not help.

So yeah, anyone have any ideas?

Anyone ever find a fix to this problem? I'm currently running Linux Mint 10.4, and when I'm connected to the router via wired, I can connect just fine, but via wireless, there is no servers in the server list. Some insight would be nice, if anyone has anything.
