Thex mallet quest as erudite SK

Can an erudite SK worshiping cazik thule get enough "the dead" faction to get the note from kizdean and turn in the mallet to loveal?
I conned kizdean at apprehensive, killed 100 gnomes in steamfront for "the dead" faction
and am still apprehensive, I have not trashed the queens faction.
Maybe its capped for non darkelf sk/necro?
