Dsetup and how to recover it.

Hey guys, so I recently had a problem where McAfee kept getting rid of my dsetup.dll file ( I read that this is a big problem for a lot of people ) anyways, I would have to keep restoring the file every time McAfee scanned and took it off.

Today I said screw it and deleted McAfee and got Avast. However, I can no longer restore my dsetup.dll to the folder like I used to, and I can't load the game. What is the step I should take so that I can play p99 again? I've done some searching, can't seem to come up with anything definitive.

Just download the v36 patch update again and extract it to your EQ folder. You need to go into avast and make a exclusion for your p99 folder though.
