Please Help! DSETUP.dll not found
Hello all,
I have an account running on my home pc and wanted to get the wife playing on our laptop. I installed everything exactly the same as the first time as far as i know, but when I try to launch the game on the laptop I get the error: "This application has failed to start because DSETUP.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I was wondering if there is a way to fix this problem so we could both play together? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks much! | ||

Found it
http://www.dllme.com/dll/download/6662/DSETUP.dll for the file.
So now the game starts but it still states my spell files are out of date. | ||

That's not the DSETUP.dll you're looking for.
Don't go looking around for the dll file. It's not like there's only one DSETUP.dll in existence. It's highly proprietary, made especially for EverQuest and P99. For instance, the one P99 uses is about 2.3MB, whereas the one you found is only 92KB, and contains anti-cheating measures. Just download the latest patch.

If you never found a way to get this to work, your antivirus is picking it up as a virus and deleting it.
1) Go into your antivirus and exclude your sony folder/p99 folder from scan 2) Turn antivirus off 3) Redownload the patch 4) Turn your antivirus back on | ||
