Quest Issue: Shaman Epic Faction issues?

So Im confused as to WHY the hell a shaman isnt Indiff to mobs for his epic quest? When is this getting fixed i just did a turn in in WK (woe, envy, marr turn ins) X2 and he ate BOTH, no faction hit...Chanter has it charmed...

Appears to be NO faction hits for turn ins when charmed....and is Apprehensively, there is some broken link im missing to how this works....in a non classical way?

Charmed NPCs do not give faction hits.

The server incorrectly has shamans starting at apprehensively to True Spirit by default. They should start at Indifferent. Come next patch, this will be fixed.

You're starting at the wrong step though. Kill the 4 rogue like NPCs to spawn the lesser spirit (butcher block, field of bone, rathe mountains and Warslik?). Have a chanter charm that. Then hail the dog and get your gem. Turn in the gem to Bondl. That should push you to indifferent after 1-2 times I think.

From scratch with no negative faction hits, using charm for 1 Bondl turn-in will give you sufficient faction to complete the subsequent steps of the quest without the need for outside help.

faction does matter for shaman epic


at the moment you cant go start to finish without repeating anything due to the faction issue

Yeah there are some parts you need enough faction for just to get the book for the pages in CoM, you can however loot the books off the Lord G and turn in without faction check, and same with Gem turn ins just need a charm to get the starting gem (tiny gem) I did Tiny Gem twice, then did whole quest until the collecting of 6 pages, and did somewhere around 6 to 7 turn ins of the page collecting...I know I ran in and back out 3 times, maybe a 4th time and it maxed on first turn in of the 4th time, so making it 7 turn ins with doing each step on epic before that once be the starting part i did twice to get indiff.
