client crashes at character select screen

When i get to the character select screen and hit enter world client crashes everytime with no error message. Tried messing with eq.ini file and using win.eq2 nothing seems to work.

Yeah definitely something fishy going on in the last week.

I ended up doing a system restore back to the 2nd August to fix a similar problem (on selecting any EQ emu server I'd just get dropped back to the desktop) [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

are you able to get into p99 blue server at all with any character?

Yes, as soon as I did a system restore everything was fine again.

I wasn't even getting to the character select before that :/
