SWG Emu

Recently a friend of mine who I had played EQ with around when I first started told me about a SWG Emu server named Basilisk. Picked up a copy of classic swg discs and been playing a couple nights a week. I've already ran into EQ-esque problems (ran out of food/drink, spent starter credits on ridiclous stuff) and now my hp is capped at 1 lol. Been pretty fun overall, guess its kinda classic think its era is before something I heard some ppl calling "the combat upgrade"? Sounded like something swg ppl would know about.

Anyway p cool server having fun for a first swg experience

I actually wouldn't mind trying that out. I've heard a lot of good stuff about pre NGE star wars.

Yeah all I ever heard from SWG players was the lament about how great the game was "pre-CU", so that must be what they're talking about.

I was too immersed in EQ etc to ever play it but my WoW guild was formed from SWG players who were some of the best people I ever played with on an MMORPG [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

haha I just figured out how to sell gun barrels (had 50c left in the bank turns out) so I figured out at least some drink for the moment, but I'm usually on around 7 pm cst

and thanks for the heads up everyone on some of the dets (and Zade) for letting us know about the potential wipe with jedi release, I'll keep that in mind

I've played here. jedi still isnt unlocked and with the history of SWG emu, they will do a wipe before they release jedi. I will be waiting to devote my time at that point
