 | Dual Core issue. Should probably get it fixed, otherwise you definitely will get banned for hacking. There are a couple different how-to threads in this forum.

 | Hit ctrl+alt+delete, right click on EQgame.exe, hit "set affinity" and check CPU 0.

 | I am not running a dual core processor, on an old labtop, dell inspiron 6000. Everything runs fine besides my actual toons running speed, frustratingly slow(90% of the time) | ||

 | I had the problem you describe. Binding eqgame.exe to one core didn't fix that issue, but disabling Cool'n'Quiet in my BIOS fixed it. I think your Dell has an Intel chip. Make sure the chipset drivers/software is installed correctly, and if that doesn't fix it try disabling CPU throttling. Intel calls this SpeedStep instead of AMD's Cool'n'Quiet. | ||

 | Cool n Quiet was my issue as well, it seemed like I was running in quick sand. disabled it and now it is all normal speed in game. Thanks Zallarenya! | ||
