Quest Issue: Wizard Epic Quest Bug? - Ring from Arantir Karondor

Hi All:

Hopefully someone can help me with this issue. I just began my Wizard Epic. I bought the Ro's Breath from Dagnor and turned it into Carmin who then returned the changed version to me. I then went back to Dargon and handed in the potion to Dargon and she changed into Arantir Karondor. I then hailed him multiple times but no ring....

Is this a bug? What do I do now?

I ended up dying after this and zoned back in only to find that Arantir had despawned.

Not sure why I didn't get the ring the first time but I went through the whole potion buying steps and had a friend pull Dargon to zone line and it worked... still may be a bug though.
