Research skill?

Hello, I logged in for the first time in about 10-12 months maybe. 23 Iksar necro. Anyhow I see my research skill is red at 40. I know for certain around a year ago it was higher than that, and oddly when I go to my trainer it says I am already at a 68 skill.

Were there changes made to the research skill in the past year-ish?

Yeah it's capped now, same thing happened to me earlier this year. I wasted a whole afternoon gathering stuff for research skill-ups before I realized what was going on!
