Default Spells and Global Txt Files Issue

Hello,

I am having an issue with the following files:

spells_us.txt
GlobalLoad.txt

I have replaced both files with the files from the patch and it still wont work for blue/green.

Any assistance for this would be great.

Did you install the whole patch to a fresh install?

No, it was an older installation from a long time ago.

Why not applying the whole patch? Depending on how old the install is, an updated dsetup.dll may be required as well

I have applied the whole patch and it doesn't work so I'm stumped. it says these two files need to be updated and despite updating with the most recent patch no dice.

Are you applying the patch to the correct Everquest directory?

You are overwriting all existing files when you patch?
