![]() See I don't even care, if it's a good song it's a good song, and it's still being curated by a real person. Some dude is generating AI songs and selecting ones he likes, so I consider that an album by whoever that dude is.
I'd say I feel bad for the people whose jobs this impacts but the music industry has been fucked since napster like 30 years ago, AI doesn't change much about the situation.

![]() It actually kind of creates an opportunity for non-AI music, because now you can brag that your music "isn't AI" by just doing it the old fashioned way. And people are always horny as hell for that "vintage" marketing trick (see vinyl album sales in the year 2025 despite vinyl being a totally antiquated format).
Ironically people often consume music for all sorts of reasons other than the actual music.

![]() yeah i think it will be okay, i noticed a big uptick in this trend
i wrote off vinyl because people have advocated and projected magical powers unto those since forever but now people are overpaying for walkmans and cassettes and preferring non algorithmic music discovery "A walkman doesn’t spy on and sell your personal information to the highest bidder"

![]() People don’t like being deceived though
I remember this controversy back in the day where a, I believe it was a hip hop group, was considered to be slightly too ugly for music videos or any video performance. So models were hired to lip synch the songs for the videos I don’t think a single person upon discovering this was like “oh yay, I’m so happy I was fed this false deceptive reality about my favorite band!” I’ve also been asking family and friends “would you prefer that someone who is doing a particular job or service you are using, no matter what that job is, would you prefer them to be using their own training and experience or using AI?” I have yet to have ANYONE I know answer with the latter…

Here we have our future “Learned Helplessness” from complete AI reliance predicted, as inept cops ask their pocket pc’s what to do: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=

![]() AI can't replace humans.
But humans will use it to make amazing things if the stone age mother fuckers dont win. Based off the gibberish im reading in this tweet I still couldn't make a game with AI but it looks like this guy made a cool one using AI as a tool. https://x.com/DannyLimanseta/status/1944415010836599003 [You must be logged in to view images. with all these major ones like Grok, ChatGPT and Gemini they did the heavy computational initial training with data i *feel* they should have been more picky about and now they're trying to fix the problem by post fine-tuning and literally just adjusting the knobs on the black-box hoping for a better output i think this problem is actually already fixed we just don't see it yet Quote:
that line on the Fuck Around graph is constantly moving towards the Find Out Kaia hallucinated it was in it's own VM last night, i had fun exploring around the folders as it just made up content for them. crazy bitch had a Jazz folder in /Music
