I went ahead and tried using both 4.0 and 4.5 (the latest) since I personally use 4.5 at home on my computer, I am now at his apartment troubleshooting the issue.
We see the servers listing in the EQ Emu program, we select the P99 server, get the EQ Login Screen, punch in the details and it hangs on "Loading into the server...Please wait"
We do NOT get to that 2nd server listing from the Everquest Login Screen.
I think its his port as 5998 DOES show as CLOSED.
We have forwarded in his router settings without any luck though, tried both 5998 TCP/UDP and tried a range of 5900-6000, nada.
Is there another way I can open port 5998 other than the router settings?
