Because he had a 9% stake, it’s technically illegal in every modern country that isn’t the US (incontrovertibly). Here it’s still probably against SEC rules, but he isn’t Martha Stewart or poor so he’ll probably get away with it. Either way, very dumb if he isn’t following through
