As a druid, if you have 4 unsnared mobs chasing you won't you end up with 3 beating on you by the time snare lands on the 1st? Just seems much more risky than snare pulling them.

If I could get off my level 24 AoE (3.6 casting time) without getting hit when mobs were running full speed, you can get off ensnare (1.75 casting time) without getting hit

From experience with multiple AoE snare resists, you could individually snare each of the mobs by running a medium-large sized circle as opposed to stringing them out in a straight line. That'll keep them from getting too far away and begin the process of getting them into a tight group.
