P.S. When I do leave Hasten up, I've started handing him 3250 gold and a shadowed rapier. So that the next person who hands him an AC ring gets the jboots. The beauty of this is it won't hurt people who are doing the quest honestly, within the rules of the game. If a MQ goes wrong, you can't petition it. You were using an exploit that the Live devs said many, many times was not supported.
