Maybe once they give a target date for teams and also a target date for the server merge people will start putting in effort now for a payoff on that server. Even if it's 12-14 months down the road from now plenty of people will see the long term benefit.

The problem has always been it's Nihi VS everyone else. The names have changed along the way...Holocaust, Force, Founding Fathers and so on. The staying power of the "resistance" is what's been weak in the long run.
A single guild getting most content and therefore PvP power is untenable. Most of the opposing forces aren't interested in gear and it's just PvP. The problem is you can't really contest if you're undergeared vs the opponents. That needs to change if Nihi is going to be broken.
