I did a /petition in game but have yet to hear back. I am certain I turned in the proper items, as I did for the other three focus items, but a double check couldn't hurt.

However, when I gave my components to Vira for the Shovel of Ponz, she ate them and no quest triggered. This was after the dialogue of course....
