I rarely venture into rants and flames because honestly it usually settles nothing. However I was pointed to this thread via our guild chat and would like to clear a few things up. We were going to attempt Tal yesterday... NO GUILD (Focus on those 2 words) stole anything from us. Our Bard went to check out Tal and got in his aggro range and died. We were still waiting on a few numbers to show up or log in to have a reasonable shot at Killing Tal. We may have tried it with the numbers we had if we were buffed given the situation of the 2 other guilds running in...But we would of died because we were completely unbuffed at the time. Which means it was us not being ready that lost us the target and not the fault of any guild running into the zone.

I personally correspond with several BDA and TMO members a lot before we attempt things as a guild and they are usually very helpful with information or encouragement. Simple thing about that situation was....We weren't ready to engage and we had plenty of time to engage before any other guild showed up. We simply lacked the numbers to do it. This makes it our fault for not engaging given the time we had. Not TMO's and not BDA's. Thanks.

I appreciate your post... but it was obviously TMO's fault.

Good luck in the future. A suggestion I might have is during future repops maybe send a tell to a TMO officer on your intentions so we can avoid it like we did Inny.

Obviously this doesn't apply to things like trak/vs/ct etc stuff we still need on alot of mains.

But he it wouldn't hurt we purposely saved fay and Inny for last since we knew other guilds were going for it.

I don't see much arguing over pixels. What I see is TMO bragging and BDA making excuses. Before I was in BDA, I thought there were two sides to this story and maybe TMO really was full of cheating jerks. After seeing it in person, I realize that BDA has many unskilled players and weak leadership. In my guilds from live, leadership would be trying to improve player skills and making replacements if necessary, not blaming the other guys. BDA's membership is indoctrinated to claim that it was TMO's fault even if they have no idea what actually happened, even if they weren't even there.

Oh, there's that matter of getting level 60, too. Most people reading this probably don't realize that BDA only has a handful of level 60 characters. At any given raid, 80% or so of the BDA turnout will be blue cons.

Alarti here just needs to realize BDA will not, under its current goals, be the competition Alarti (possibly TMO) wants it to be. One huge difference that I've witnessed on p99 compared to my eqlive server experience is the massive amounts of players per raiding guild.

On classic live, I'm not sure if it was the inter-guild conflicts, lack of enough loot to go around, or generally wanting to compete, but there were never guilds this large.

Aim lower.... you need to build yourself up. You aren't anywhere near our level in ability, coordination, or logistics. Build your infrastructure like we did. If you know TMO is going to go for trak and VS first. Go for Inny, Sev, whatevs. Fake a camp out at trakanon but have 8-10 people ninja camped at VS to throw us off. Honestly, there is no excuse for you to not have had AT LEAST draco down by the time we got there. You had 40 people there lollygagging while we were moving across 5 zones and killing 3 raid targets.

Work on mobilizing. Get a plan for your wizards and druids. I'll even give you hints if you ask me for some.
